EMILY HILDERBRAND (SHE/THEY)
2020 & 2021 Kansas City Fellow
Emily Hilderbrand is a second year student at Hamline University, majoring in Religion and Social Justice. She currently works at the Hamline United Methodist Church and manages a program entitled Queer Connections, which specializes in creating opportunities for queer centric worship and ministry, young adult and college ministry, and fostering a connection between Hamline University and the church. Her proudest accomplishment is establishing Hamline as the second ever Reconciling University, for which she was awarded the Campus Compact award, the Samuel L. Parish Religious Leadership award, and the Jeanne Audrey Powers Award. Most recently, she began the ordination process within the United Methodist Church. In her free-time, Emily enjoys spending time with her cat, Blackberry.
EVELYN HARRISON (SHE/HER)
2021 Maplewood Fellow
Evelyn is currently a sophomore at Hamline University studying Psychology, Sociology, and Spanish. She first became interested in government by participating in the YMCA Youth In Government program during high school. After coming to college, she became involved in Mitra Jalali's campaign for St. Paul City Council and is active in mock trial. In her free time, Evelyn enjoys cooking/baking, singing, and watching Disney movies.
JESSIE LUÉVANO (SHE/HER)
2020 & 2021 Apple Valley Fellow
Jessie is currently a junior at Hamline University. She is pursuing a double major in Political Science and Global Studies, with concentrations in immigration advocacy and economic equality, and a minor in History. When she’s not working or attending school, she can be found in a garden spending time with her plants.
KAIA ZEIGLER (SHE/HER)
2020 & 2021 Rosemount Fellow
Kaia Zeigler is a senior at Hamline University studying Psychology with minors in Business Practice and Mandarin Chinese. She is passionate about racial equity and supporting underserved populations. She has enjoyed working at Project for Pride in Living, a Twin Cities nonprofit, since January 2020 and learning about the relationship between nonprofits and policy work. As one of the original F.L.L.A.G cohort members, Kaia has greatly enjoyed the networking and professional growth opportunities that this program has provided her.
KEVIN JACOBSON (HE/HIM)

Kevin is a curious physics and economics student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. As a high school debate coach, he has a passion for dialogue, argumentation, and discovery. He intends on applying his knowledge of market mechanics and devotion to the scientific method to the field of patent law after completing his Juris Doctor.
PATRICK MICHENER (HE/HIM)
2020 & 2021 Winona Fellow
Patrick Michener is currently a senior at Hamline University and is graduating in Spring of 2021 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Nonprofit Management. He is a returning FLLAG fellow and was a member of the original cohort. Currently in his free time, he enjoys playing games with friends, completing "do-it-yourself" projects for friends and family, providing some top notch customer service at Menards as a Building Materials Desk Representative, and watching soccer or Scrubs.
RAINA MEYER (SHE/HER)

Raina is currently a student at Hamline University studying Political Science, History, and Public Health. She is very passionate about serving her community through campaigning for progressive candidates and causes, and in her spare time she enjoys photography, baking, and reading (specifically history-related books).
RUBEN DOMINGUEZ (HE/HIM)
2020 & 2021 Roseville Fellow
Ruben Dominguez is Chicano who is currently a sophomore at Hamline University double majoring in Political Science and Global Studies. He is involved on campus in the Student Congress, specifically as the Chair of the Board of Elected representatives. In his free time, he also serves as an intern for The Arc Minnesota and is a proud member of the FLLAG Fellowship. He hopes to be able to one day use everything he has learned in order to live a life of service to others. Whether this may come in the law field or government sector, he will continue to work towards finding ways to support his community.
SAM NOWACZEWSKI (HE/HIM)
2021 St. Paul Fellow
Sam is a lifelong St. Paulite. He is currently a junior at Hamline University majoring in Political Science and minoring in Theatre Arts. He discovered his passion for state and local politics after interning for Rebecca Noecker’s 2019 re-election campaign. When Sam isn’t hard at work representing the Class of 2022 on Hamline’s Undergraduate Student Congress, you can find him hiking, singing, or working behind the scenes in Hamline’s Theatre Department.
